The much anticipated Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation on the Amazon Region was published by Pope Francis on 12 February 2020 and addressed to the People of God and all people of goodwill.
There has been quite a mixed response to this exhortation. Before one judges it, it seems important to at least read it in its entirety and reflectively consider the various aspects of the document.
