New Sculpture Unveiled at St Peter’s

Pope Francis continues to call us to be aware and supportive of migrants and refugees. He recently unveiled a sculpture in St Peter’s Square entitled “Angels Unawares” by Canadian artist, Timothy Schmaltz.

It is a life-size sculpture made of bronze and clay, and depicts a group of migrants and refugees from different cultural and racial backgrounds and from diverse historic periods in time.
