Brigidine Sisters are a small, diverse, global community of women religious united by our history, charism, goodwill and commitment.
Even though there is much still to be challenged and changed, on International Womens’ Day this year we give thanks for the initiatives in our Church and world which help forge a gender equal world by:
- raising greater awareness about issues impacting women’s equality
- taking a stance to call out inequality while working to forge positive action
- highlighting and applauding where important gains are being made
- celebrating women’s achievements and accomplishments.
On IWD 2022 we recommit to working with others to break any bias in our communities, places of ministry, church and world.
