Talitha Kum is a network of networks of women religious in 92 countries across 5 continents working to eliminate human trafficking and to support survivors. The organization is considered a Catholic charity, established by the International Union of Superiors General in 2009. Sister Gabriella Bottani is the current head of the organization.
The name “Talitha Kum” is Aramaic, and is taken from Jesus words in Mark 5:41 meaning, “Little girl arise!”
Congratulations to all involved in the work of Talitha Kum and in the 10th Assembly held in Rome in 2019.
Let us continue our efforts to support the work of those involved in eliminating all forms of human trafficking.
