Speaking Up For Refugees

Brigidine Sister Brigid Arthur csb, one of the founder of the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project, shares some of her long experience of working with asylum seekers. She has been led to believe that indefinite detention deprives such people of the chance to contribute to the society to which they long to be a part. It replaces meaningful activities with daily humiliations and indignities.
