Brigidines, colleagues, partners and friends are invited and encouraged to participate in the Pause for Peace movement on the 1st February 2024.
Pause for Peace is an initiative of the Solas Bhríde Team, who join with Into Kildare and the residents of Kildare, ‘to call on people all around the world to stop for a minute’s silence at 12.00 noon (local time) on St Brigid’s Day.’
The movement aims to awaken and build a spirit of global solidarity in our search for peace – on a day that honours the legacy of St Brigid, Woman of Peace.
Students from Kildare’s schools have trained, at Solas Bhride, as Ambassadors for Peace during the St Brigid’s Day Pause for Peace 2024.
