UNANIMA International, reminds us that the concept of ‘home’ goes beyond the physical structures that shelter us, to encompass the cultural, social, economic and environmental dimensions of daily life. It also defines people’s identity and daily experiences.
Global Homelessness is a focus of UNANIMA’s interconnected works. UNANIMA is conducting one of the ‘first of its kind’ research into Homelessness to be considered at the international level.
“It is hoped that this research and advocacy will promote a paradigm shift where Homelessness and Displacement are seen not as a personal failure but rather the structural failure and Human Rights violation that they are.
