2024
As this year comes to near-end and we prepare to celebrate ‘God with us’ at Christmas time, we pause in gratitude for the Blessings of 2024.
Brigidines give thanks for the people, places and ministries with which our lives interconnect. We give thanks for and to colleagues, associates, friends, communities, families and each other – to whom each of us can truly say: ‘I Am because You Are.’
Solas Bhride
Brigid1500 was celebrated widely during 2024, beginning on St Brigid’s Day (Feb 1st) in Kildare Ireland. We thank our Sisters and Teams at Solas Bhride for initiating and animating such a commemorative, celebratory, inclusive time.

The 10th Anniversary of the formation of Kildare Ministries was celebrated and honoured in 2024 – beginning with the Çrossing New Seas Conference in March. Kildare Ministries continues to live and grow the values of justice, compassion, hope, courage and wonder within schools and community works.

Across the world, 2024 has also seen the horrors of conflict, the impact of climate change and the displacement and flight of people seeking safety.
