It takes courage

The Melbourne – based Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project (BASP) is a community work of Kildare Ministries. With the support of volunteers and generous financial contributors, BASP continues its efforts to:

-Provide hospitality and practical support for people seeking asylum;

-Actively network with like-minded individuals and groups who are
working for justice
for asylum  seekers;

-Promote advocacy for the rights of people seeking asylum;

-Engage in education about asylum seekers issues.

Information/Discussion Sessions
are regularly offered by BASP.

The next one is scheduled for Wednesday, 20 August, 2.00 – 3.30 pm.at St Joseph’s Hall, 274 Rouse St, Port Melbourne (note change from usual venue). The session will be attended by local Member of Parliament Josh Burns.
