World Day against Trafficking in Persons – 30 July 2014
Prayer for the victims of trafficking
“Happy are those who hunger for justice”
Let us pray…
…for men, women, and children, victims of forced labor
…for men, women, and children, abused in cotton plantations, in sweat shops, in rivers poisoned by mine exploitation
“Happy are those who hunger for justice”
Let us pray…
…for Tina, a young girl from Romania, human trafficking victim, killed in Italy in 2001
…for the 600 persons – 450 being children – found in Mexican squalid shelters, victims of abuse
…for this young girl abused by men in many Ontario cities
…for the three women in Lambeth, south of London, kept as slaves during 30 years
…for Zunera and Shaista, young Pakistani women, kept as sexual slaves in Dubai
…for the 200 students kidnapped by the Boko Horan sect, threatened of being sold or married
…for the 700 million women in the world married while they were children
“Happy are those who hunger for justice”
Let us pray for other intentions: from your city, country, world…
“Happy are those who hunger for justice”
