Brigidine Sisters, together with our associates, colleagues and partners in ministry stand in solidarity with all whose lives have been torn apart by the most recent acts of violence in France and Turkey.
While we condemn violence we recommit ourselves to deepening “our understanding of the complexity and inter-relatedness of factors which threaten the life and well-being” of people and “our common home.”
Together we pray:
Lord, make us instruments of your compassion and dream of life for all..
Where there is hatred, let us sow love,
where there is violence, let us sow peace and hope.
