A ritual to mark the official handing forward of the governance of Kilbreda College was held on 1 May. All those who attend were moved by the simple yet significant ritual.

Brigidine Sisters gathered at the College with present and past staff, students and their families and other supporters of Kilbreda including members of the Kilbreda College Stewardship Council, the Trustees of Kildare Ministries and Kildare Ministries Mission and Ministry Team.
Victorian Brigidine Community Leader, Sr Anne Hill signified the official handing forward of the governance of the College by the unveiling and handing over of a commemorative plaque to Ms Rosemary Copeland, a representative of of the Trustees of Kildare Ministries.

After the ritual, guests were treated to a lovely afternoon tea and time was spent meeting friends and supporters old and new.
