As the people of the USA deal with the recent shootings in California, Texas and Ohio we remember especially our Brigidine Sisters and Associates in San Antonio and surrounds.
We pray too for all the victims who lost their lives through these acts of violence. May they be at peace.
We remember their families and loved ones and all so deeply affected by these events.
May there be healing in all the impacted communities and wisdom and courage for all who speak up and take a stand against all forms of violence and contempt.
May the peace of Christ and the light of our patroness, Brigid of Kildare, woman for peace and reconciliation, lead people through these events to overcome violence, threat, hate and fear.
