The Season of Creation which runs from 1st September to 4th October, is a time for renewing our relationship with all creation. It is an opportunity for us to reflect on how we use the planet’s finite resources, to pray for healing for ourselves and for the world, and to renew our commitment to living more lightly upon the Earth.
The healing of the planet isn’t a vocation for just a few, nor one that ignores issues of justice and marginalization.
Church teaching makes it abundantly clear that it’s one struggle. (Refer Laudato Si). The broad concept of “climate justice” challenges each of us to incarnate in all our communities the abundance of life promised in the Gospels.
