As we read this week about young Samuel being called and the first disciples being invited by Jesus to “Come and see!”, it might be a good time to reflect on one’s own experience of sensing God’s call in life. Some may want to recall the motto they chose at the time of first commitment as a Brigidine Sister to express their response to God’s call.
God continues to call each person to take up the invitation to work for unity, peace and justice in our fractured and hurting world and Church.
This week, we pray especially for Joe Biden as he is inaugurated as the 46th President of the USA on January 20 and for all civic and faith leaders, including those on our own congregational and community leadership teams.
