Living with Covid-19 this year is bringing us new insights. One such insight is the witness of frontline workers and healthcare professionals. Daily and weekly they have responded with a totality of loving care of the sick and dying.
In the Gospel reading for the 30th Sunday in Year A, (Matthew 22:34-40) we hear again Jesus’ call to us to be willing to love with all our heart, soul and mind.
What particular challenges do you face in loving yourself?
In what ways do the patterns of your relationships with others at home or at work reflect a true depth of love?
What might be the “all” that you’re being invited to consider in God’s presence this week?
