Congratulations to all involved in the planning and the recent celebration of the 50th Jubilee of the College in Porirua. Students welcomed guests on the occasion and singing, cultural performances, music and dancing followed the Jubilee Dinner which was enjoyed by all.
Cardinal John Dew, Mons Gerard Burns (a Brigidine past pupil) and Assumptionist Father John van der Kaa presided at the Eucharist to mark the Jubilee.
A number of Brigidine Sisters who have had involvements with the College as staff members or friends over the years attended the events and renewed friendships with many ex-students who’d travelled from all over New Zealand as well as Perth, Brisbane and Sydney for the Jubilee.
