Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project Newsletter No 91
Those seeking asylum have multiple and diverse needs. However, with the generosity, support and help of many people, the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project (BASP) is making a real difference in the lives of many.
We continue to be challenged by the words of Jesus: “I was a stranger and you made me welcome…” (Matthew 25).
This newsletter also contains information about a variety of ways in which people can become involved in the work of supporting refugees and asylum seekers, and an invitation to join with Brigidine Sisters, friends and supporters of BASP at the Palm Sunday Walk for Justice for Refugees, at 2pm April 14 in Melbourne. Please check arrangements for Palm Sunday Walks in other cities around Australia.
