Eight Australian teenagers supported by Brigidine Sister Brigid Arthur CSB.have argued that the Federal Environment Minister has a duty of care to protect young people from climate crises.
While their case may not have been successful in the Federal Court this week, Brigid Arthur reminded all that we must “pay attention to the harm that we are doing both to the planet and the future children that will inhabit this planet.”
Brigidine Sisters will continue to take action for social and ecological justice in the places where we live and work.
