Brigidine Sisters, together with the Edmund Rice Centre, are delighted to be able to co-sponsor Maina Talia to COP 26 in Glasgow. Maina is the Secretary of the Tuvalu Climate Action Network and is attending COP26 as part of the Tuvaluvan government delegation.
Due to current COVID-related risks and costs associated with travelling to COP26, the Pacific Islander delegation has been reduced this year, so the support of the Brigidine Sisters is appreciated and is just one practical way in which we stand in solidarity with those calling for bold climate action by 2030.
