On St Brigids Day, the Brigidine Sisters in Windsor offered a reflection day for past pupils of Brigidine School Windsor. The response to the invitation was wonderful with over 100 past pupils attending from across the decades. They thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with each other, with Brigidine Sisters and with the story of Brigid of Kildare. They were also grateful to hear how the work of the Brigidines continues in the UK and elsewhere especially of their work with others to eliminate human trafficking and support survivors of trafficking and exploitation.
The assembly offered special thanks to Dr Andrea Dustagheer (nee Burton) and her husband for organising the day and to Brigidine Sisters Patricia Mulhall CSB and Teresina Fingleton CSB for their presence, ongoing support and sharing.
