All over the world charities supporting people in need are currently struggling to meet increased demands. Asylum seekers and refugees in Australia, the homeless in Ireland and the UK, the poor in Kenya or those displaced by fires and other disasters in USA to name but a few, rely more and more on the support of charities.
Brigid Arthur CSB reflects with others in the following article about one such struggle in Australia. This reminds us of the ongoing struggles in each of the places where we live and minister. Let’s be ready to advocate for the rights of all to a safe and sustainable life and may we be ready to share whatever we can with the most vulnerable around us.
