Brigidine Sisters wish our associates, our partners in ministry, all our families, friends and supporters every blessing for 2021 this Christmas season.
As we look upon the scene of the first Christmas in Bethlehem, we give thanks for all who are part of that Christmas story and our story, too.
We give thanks for the gift of Jesus, who was born like us, lived like us, struggled like us, and who has shown us how to live a truly human life. He brings joy and peace, justice, mercy and love!
May his crib be a beacon of hope for us and for the whole world as we face these strange days with courage and renewed strength.
May the star of Bethlehem which shone brightly over the first crib stand guard over our homes, filling them and Mother Earth with light and peace.
May it also stand guard over the millions of whom we are aware who are seeking a safe home for themselves and their families and those trafficked or forced to leave their homes.
May our keeping of the Christmas feast enable us to know, believe and daily share in practical ways the Christmas message of Emmanuel, God is with us. Amen.
