A number of Brigidine Sisters are members and supporters of ACRATH (Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans) around Australia. Recently the ACRATH group in West Australia collaborated with members of other groups and agencies including the Australian Federal Police to address the challenging issue of forced marriage in that State.
