Brigidine Sisters add congratulations to all members of the Missionary Society of St Columban as they celebrate their centenary at this time and throughout the sixteen countries where Columbans have shared the Gospel over the years.
The theme chosen by the Columbans for this occasion is: Sharing Gospel Joy.
In a recent address, Fr Kevin O’Neill, Superior General of the Society said, “The Centenary is an occasion to recall what inspired the early Columban pioneers and what they achieved…. and to thank our benefactors, families and friends whose sacrifices over one hundred years have made it all possible.”
