The Brigidine Congregation belongs to and supports the coalition of women religious, UNANIMA International (UI). In solidarity, UNANIMA International works for systemic change to achieve a more just world. UNANIMA International annually presents the “Woman of Courage Award,” honouring women from around the world for courage and leadership in making a difference: UI Women of Courage
In 2018, UI’s Woman of Courage Award recipient was María Herrera Magdaleno.
