On Saturday 18 May 2019, Mr Scott Morrison was elected Prime Minister of Australia. The President of Catholic Religious Australia (CRA), Monica Cavanagh RSJ has written to him on behalf of the over 150 religious congregations across Australia with approximately 5,500 Catholic religious women and men throughout the nation and the many thousands of people working in organizations run by religious institutions.
