This year the Australian entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest is Isaiah Firebrace, a 17 year old who was attending St Joseph’s College in Echuca last year when he won the X Factor singing Competition on National Television. Singing in front of millions of people world -wide is a huge leap for a young aboriginal boy from Moama- over the river from Echuca. He is a delightful young man and the local Brigidines are very proud of him so we wanted the wider Brigidine family to enjoy his performance too. Isaiah performed in the first semi- final and now proceeds to the final which will be shown on SBS at 7.30pm (Australian time) on Sunday 14th May.
