In the folk tradition of Ireland and the celtic calendar, the first day of February is the beginning of Spring and the beginning of the agriculture year in the northern hemisphere.
All are invited to join members of Solas Bhride in Kildare as they explore these customs and traditions as practiced by our ancestors, welcoming and celebrating rebirth and the new growing season.
This will also include a time to reflect together on the question: How can we pick up this ancient thread and weave it into our time?
