Brigid: Flame of Justice and Peace is the overall theme for Feile Bhride 2017 re-connecting with the theme of the first Feile, Brigid, Prophetess, Earthwoman, Peacemaker which was organised by AFRI and the Brigidine Sisters in Ireland. Feile Bhride marks the relighting of the St Brigid Flame/Fire in the Market Square, Kildare Town 25 years ago – a flame that has caught the imagination of people worldwide. The spark taken from the relit flame burns today in the Solas Bhride Spirituality Centre as a beacon of hope, justice and peace for our world.
