Food for Thought in Lent

Although food production per capita has increased over the past six decades, so too has malnutrition. At present the entire food system is under increased stress from climate change, which is shifting growing seasons and contributing to weather extremes like drought and severe storms.

During the final weeks of Lent, let’s consider these issues and take some time to re-examine our attitudes and behaviours re food, to ensure healthy food and a healthy planet for all now and into the future.
