The topic for the ACRATH Conversations Series event in September was Human Trafficking: Global and Local Perspectives. This event featured ACRATH’s Sr Colleen Jackson RSC, Oceania Coordinator of Talitha Kum and Sr Abby Avelino MM, Talitha Kum’s Asian Coordinator, based in Japan. Abby and Colleen spoke about the significant work at the grassroots challenging and eliminating human trafficking and supporting the victims of human trafficking – sometimes at risk to their lives.
