Hotels Targetting Trafficking

Brigidine Sisters in a number of places and groups are working to eliminate all forms of human trafficking eg forced labor, sexual exploitation and forced marriage. We are engaged in raising awareness of these crimes against humanity and educating people about actions needed to overcome trafficking.

We work in partnership with other NGOs and networks such as UNANIMA International, RENATE, ANZRATH, ACRATH and TALITHA KUM to advocate against human trafficking, offer support to victims and survivors of trafficking as well as calling legislators to take strong action against traffickers.

The crime of human trafficking needs everyone to take responsibility to work locally and globally to eliminate these forms of exploitation. Some managers and staff in the hospitality industry are becoming more aware of signs of potential trafficking of women and children for sexual exploitation and empowered to take action to bring it to an end.
