Jesus’ Parable Still Challenges

The parable in Matthew 21:28 – 32 holds new possibilities for reflecting on and reviewing our lives. It raises many questions:

  • In what ways does God speak personally to you in this text?
  • Do you personally, and we as a community “walk our talk”?
  • Do our lives match the faith we profess in Jesus?
  • Are there things about which we need to ‘change our minds’ in light of the Covid-19 pandemic?

The words of Veronica Lawson RSM will enrich our reflections on the Gospel:

“If your life in Christ means anything, if love can persuade at all, or the Spirit that we have in common, or any tenderness and sympathy, then be united in your convictions and united in love, with a common purpose and a common mind.” (Philippians 2:1)
