The Kildare Ministries Conference took place from 28th to 30th April. The first evening of the conference was be hosted from Marian College Ararat and livestreamed. The remainder of the conference will be held online and there are no other ‘in person sessions.’
This is an opportunity for schools and community works to come together to continue to shape Kildare Ministries’ identity, reflect on prominent social justice issues and determine how we can address these issues as an organisation going forward.
Sessions will include:
- A keynote address by Bishop Vincent Long
- An address by Anne Boyd csb – Peace and Justice in relation to spirituality, ecology and earth
- A look at injustice from a Student Panel perspective
- An exploration of St. Joseph’s artistic interpretation of Brigidine and Presentation Stories
- A Community Works Panel discussion
- A reflection by Michael Trainor on mission leadership & the Living Justice, Living Peace Charter
- An insight into Marian College Ararat.
