In early December 2018, Dr Ann Power’s book – “The Brigidine Sisters in Ireland, America, Australia and New Zealand, 1807 – 1922” was launched at Carlow College, Co Carlow, Ireland.
Among the guests at this occasion were several members of Ann’s family, a number of Brigidine Sisters, Bishop Denis Nulty, an t-Athair Con O’Maoldomnaigh, Fr John McEvoy, Patrician Br Camillus Regan and friends of Ann and the Brigidine Sisters.
During the launch Brigidine Sister Theresa Kilmurray csb spoke on behalf of the Brigidines congratulating Ann on “this beautifully written and produced historical account of the first 115 years of the Brigidine Congregation.”
