Lenten Reflection: Call to Action

Brigidine Sisters are called in solidarity with others to deepen our understanding of the complexity and inter-relatedness of factors which threaten the life and wellbeing of our common home. (2016 Congregational Forum).

In his latest Lenten “Reflections on the Care of Creation,”  in the National Catholic Reporter, Fr. Emmet Farrell examines our impact on the planet and our responsibility, as people of faith, for our common home. During Lent we are invited to reflect on the implications of this and the call to review our use of water. Through the support of various agencies we can also contribute to helping some of the millions of others deprived of the gift of fresh water.
