In the aftermath of the second world war, a small group of women and men, inspired by the Gospel, had the vision, faith and courage to foster a movement for reconciliation. They planted seeds that spread throughout Western Europe in the 1960s and slowly grew into the movement known as Pax Christi International.
Over the years, a number of Brigidine Sisters have been actively involved in Pax Christ. Others have attended Pax Christi events and together we all remain committed to building non-violent and respectful relationships and educating others to work for peace.
Let us continue our commitment to pray for peace in the world.
