On Palm Sunday, Brigid Arthur CSB and a number of other Brigidine Sisters took part in the Melbourne Walk for Refugees. Staff and supporters of the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project(BASP) also took part with people from many different denominations and others of goodwill.
Such events were held in support of refugees in many other parts of Australia and around the world.
