At the recent conference of UISG concluded the following 23-word commitment was spoken in unison by the 520 sisters attending the plenary in person and silently by another 200 or so who attended online: “I commit myself to live vulnerable synodality through service as a leader, animating it within the community, together with the people of God.”
Let us pray for these Sisters who’ve been called to leadership in UISG and in our Brigidine Congregation at this time of significant change and vulnerability for us all and for our world.
