Another week in the Season of Creation and the weekend liturgy for 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year C offers another parable from Luke’s Gospel 16:1 – 13.
As with all parables there are many aspects to the story of the rich man and his steward. Each listening disciple will take his or her own meaning from this parable as they ponder the stewardship which is theirs in life and ministry.
Some of the well-known sayings in the text might stay with you in coming days: eg “The one who can be trusted in little things can be trusted in great” or “No one can be slave to two masters”.
The following points by Veronica Lawson RSM are offered her to enrich your reflections.
