This year, Ramadan, the month of fasting and prayer for Muslims, ends at sundown on Wednesday, May 12. The final evening of Ramadan consists of a celebration called Eid al-Fitr, when the traditional month-long fast end with a feast.
We give thanks for the goodness and faith of our Muslim sisters and brothers who God has given the strength to go through this month of Ramadan.
We pray Eid al-Fitr will be a time of celebration and renewal for all who keep this feast and pray especially for those who are far from home and family during this celebration.
