Brigidine Sisters give thanks for the inspirational leadership of Pope Francis 
and mourn his death.
Pope Francis constantly drew us to the gospel imperative to care for those on the peripheries and to seriously take action on protecting our Common Home.
He has modelled and challenged us all to bring kindness and respect to every encounter.
His courage in bringing a moral voice and deep spiritual reflection to naming and addressing the many social and ecological problems that beset the world has been so needed, and has given us hope and encouragement to be people of action and hope.
May his legacy and spirit live on in the hearts of all people of good will.
May Pope Francis enjoy the fullness of resurrection life, knowing that indeed ‘love, light and truth’ prevail. Requiescat in pace!
