During this month of May the special intention of all in Pope Francis’ Worldwide Prayer Network is: “that deacons , faithful to their service of the Word and the poor may be an invigorating symbol for the entire Church”.
May they inspire us all to listen attentively to the Word in creation, in the Scriptures, through other people and all the events of our lives.
May we too reach out in service of those living in the poverty of loneliness, isolation, sickness, addiction and a lack of sufficient resources for life.
May the People of God continue to explore the mystery of who is called to serve in God’s name, knowing that through baptism, all are called as equals to actively engage in God’s mission to bring life , love and healing to the world.
