We hold in prayer the people of Indonesia, especially the hundreds of residents and travellers who lost their lives as a result of the tsunami that hit the shores of Sumatra and Java on Saturday 23 December 2018.
We remember their relatives and friends whose lives have been forever changed by the impact of this sudden loss and deep grief.
Let us pray for healing for the injured and safety of the missing. We keep in mind all who have lost their homes and their livelihoods. May they be given the gifts of hope and courage to start over once more.
