Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is an annual event which is held around the world on November 11. The event is an important commemoration of all fallen soldiers who lost their lives to war.

On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, people hold a minute’s silence to remember the men and women who have sacrificed the lives for their countries. It’s also a tradition for many people to wear poppies on this day, to commemorate the fallen soldiers.
