From 6 – 12 November 2016, religious engaged in the Europe Networking Against Human Trafficking (RENATE) will hold their International Assembly in Rome.
Members from 27 countries in Europe will assemble to discuss, discern, reflect and share best practice on efforts to eliminate human trafficking and exploitation.
During the Assembly, a documentary film, Called to Give Voice to the Voiceless will be launched, showing the work of the RENATE Network in Europe.
The RENATE Mapping Across Europe Report will also be launched at the Assembly. This Report provides rich insights into the contribution being made by women religious, their congregations and their associates in the world-wide efforts to bring an end to human trafficking.
Brigidine Sisters have an ongoing involvement in RENATE’S work of education, advocacy and action to eliminate human trafficking and exploitation. During the days of the Assembly (Nov 6 – 12) let us remember in prayer all participants and presenters and their message that Ending Trafficking Begins With Us.
