“Laudato Si” by Pope Francis offers much rich material for reflection particularly during this Season of Creation. It also suggests a number of powerful challenges about how we pray and live out our lives.
“God has written a precious book, ‘whose letters are the multitude of created things present in the universe’. The contemplation of creation allows us to discover in each thing a teaching God wishes to hand on to us, since ‘for the believer, to contemplate creation is to hear a message, to listen to a paradoxical and silent voice.’ (John Paul 2). We can say that alongside revelation properly so called, contained in sacred Scripture, there is a divine manifestation in the blaze of the sun and the fall of the night’. Paying attention to this manifestation, we learn to see ourselves in relation to other creatures.” (Paragraph 85)
In this Season of Creation, let us pay attention to Divine Energy animating fresh possibilities all around us and allow our hearts to give praise to our God!
