‘The XXI UISG Plenary is being held in Rome from 6 -10 May 2019. More than 800 Superiors General will be participating, from 80 different countries and speaking 13 languages. Our Brigidine Congregational Leader, Cathy O’Connor CSB is attending this key meeting of leaders. There are more than 40 speakers and guests.
For the first time, UISG will also offer 7 workshops to Superiors General, before and after the Plenary on Protection of Minors, Catholic Institutional Care for Children, Canon Law for Religious life, Communication for Mission.
The main themes will be:
· Vision for the future of Religious Life
· Care for our Planet
· Interculturality
· Interreligious Dialogue
The Plenary is open just to Superiors General, but for the first time UISG is happy to stream the talks on the above themes in the original language, mostly in English and some in Spanish.
