The focus of the US Sisters May 2020 Stop Trafficking Newsletter is to raise awareness of the health consequences of human trafficking and how health professionals are becoming better equipped to identify and assist human trafficking victims.
Articles include Behavioural Indicators of Human Trafficking, Health Effects of Human Trafficking, Barriers to Disclosure by Victims and Trauma Informed Care.
A number of Brigidine Sisters in Ireland, UK, USA, New Zealand and Australia are already actively involved in working with others and in advocacy to bring an end to human trafficking.
